Medical adherence assessment in cardiovascular disorders
MasCard and TAsCard project
Cardio-neurovascular disorders are the leading cause of death worldwide. They are also the second leading cause of death in France after cancer, making it a major public health issue. Management of cardiovascular risk factors can contribute to a decrease in morbidity and mortality of patients with cardiovascular disease provided that the management is efficient.
In this context, the project aims at providing a comprehensive approach of the use of health care system by the cardiovascular chronic patients, their adherence and assessing the impact of medical, psycho-social and therapeutic education interventions on empowerment in age-related cardiovascular diseases.
For this, the studies performed associate epidemiological, humanities and social science methods.
